Atlas Daemon Setup
Getting Started
The Atlas Daemon formally supports Windows, Ubuntu Server, and CentOS server. You should ensure your firewall allows communication on port 32920 to houston.rocketpanel.app or whereever you are hosting your APIs web-socket. We use websockets for real-time communication between your daemon, and our API.
To get started clone the Atlas Daemon most recent release to a folder. Note, the daemon will create a few directories to store servers in, and for caching server templates. Once you do this, simply run node index, assuming you are using RocketPanels public panel just type enter to the Websocket adress, and then once prompted enter the API key which the panel has given you. After this the daemon will set its self up, and you are ready to go.
Requirements
- Docker
- Node.JS
- Java (obviously)
- Firewall which allows websockets via port 32920
Information
The Atlas Daemon DOES NOT store any data locally, the API is responsible for storing information on each server. The Daemon only stores local files, and servers.
